Photographer Mentor Sessions

Sometimes it takes others to request your knowledge for you to think it’s worth sharing. To have people inquiry and others suggest me to other photographers & creatives to be their mentor or ask me for my knowledge is not only humbling but very encouraging as well because that means I’m doing something right.

Are you an up and coming photographer that would love to sit-down with an established photographer and learn all that you can about being a photographer and business owner? This page is for you. I don’t know everything as I’m still learning and growing but my aim for these mentor sessions are for me to share all the knowledge and things I’ve learned from my failures and successes over the years.

This is about YOU, YOUR business & YOUR path. I just want to be a helpful part of that process and journey. I’m an open book and will be as honest as possible, so don’t hesitate to ask anything. My ultimate hope when you walk away from a session is that you feel encouraged and equipped enough to move forward in whatever direction that is.

These can included anything and EVERYTHING that you can fit into two hours. These sessions are Q&A styled sessions led by you. So I would encourage you to be prepared with as many questions as you can come up with. We can cover things like pricing, work flow, posing, making clients comfortable, booking and social media to name a few. The options are truly endless. At the end of our session I’ll give you a resource list that will include suggestions on items like marketing, website, and administrative duties.

Workshop // Q&A + Shoot + Edit

6 Hour Workshop - $750

This is where the fun begins. This will basically be a full day workshop. We’ll meet up for two hours for tea or coffee and jump right into a Q&A session led by you with any questions you may have. This will also be a time for me to get to know you, your business goals and dreams as well. Nothing beats hands-on experience so following that the next two hours will consist of a photo session that I’ve set up based on the type of photography your hoping to gain experience in. Following the shoot the next two hours will be us grabbing some food and then edit together. We will be using the pictures that you captured. We will go over editing techniques, styles, times and presets. We will also cover any questions you might have concerning editing and tuning in your ideal style! All of this would be concluded with a portfolio critique.
