WOMEN IN STRENGTH
There’s a strength that comes with being in a community. That is extremely vital when it’s a community of people that not only are similar to you but understand the struggles, hardships & triumphs you’ve experienced. In a society that has continued to degrade, dismiss, disrespect and simply overlook women, especially women of color, women have not only had enough of it but have taken the reigns of their own narrative.
WOMEN IN STRENGTH is a photo essay highlighting a few women of the Women of Color Creatives of Grand Rapids. This is a visual representation of their example of community, empowerment, compassion, grace, love, truth, & strength.
